Formus Labs and Zimmer Biomet worked together this year to launch an interactive online series for Formus® Hip, hosted on Zimmer Biomet’s e-learning system and implemented across Australia.
The programme was released on the 13th of August developed for the Zimmer Biomet sales team to help them learn, understand, and market our Formus® Hip technology.
Each Zimmer Biomet team member was assigned four modules to complete which covered principles and theories related to total hip arthroplasty, navigating and understanding the Formus® Hip platform, and how to use Formus® Hip for difficult case planning. This included a series of material to read, interactive assessment, quizzes and captured demos.
Formus Labs Country Manager Zoe Hart says she has received several positive comments regarding the depth and scope of training.
“I’ve had multiple users tell me that the programme was a great resource. They stated that it was challenging but very helpful, and that the level of detail regarding the Formus product, background material and focus on key principles were very helpful to understand fundamentals.”
As new Zimmer Biomet reps come on board they will continue to be up-skilled with the Formus Labs e-learning series.
