AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND / TOKYO, JAPAN – Formus, developer of the world's leading AI-automated 3D pre-operative planning platform, is proud to announce the appointment of Professor Yasuhiro Homma, M.D., Ph.D., as their first Japanese clinical advisor. Prof. Homma’s addition to the advisory team will significantly bolster Formus’s clinical validation and strategic expansion within the Japanese orthopaedic market.

On the back of a successful five year partnership in the Australia & New Zealand market, Formus and Zimmer Biomet have agreed to a long term exclusive distribution agreement in Japan for Formus Hip - their AI-automated, 3D pre-operative planning software.

Formus Labs, creator of the world's first fully-automated 3D planner for joint replacement surgeries, today announced it has hired Polly Teevan as Chief Marketing Officer. Teevan will oversee global commercial and marketing strategy, and lead Formus to expand its presence in the US and international markets leveraging her deep customer relationships, industry knowledge and commercial experience.
