About the Role: What You'll Be Doing
We are seeking a nimble AI engineer, ideally with experience in medical image processing and reconstruction, to enhance our existing products and develop exciting new solutions.
Your pivotal responsibilities will include:
● AI Computer Vision Technical Skill: Develop, train, and deploy state-of-the-art AI image processing models. This includes supporting orthopaedic surgeon needs around image segmentation, landmarking, and multi-dimensional reconstruction. You will manage continuous improvement of training datasets and stay current with the latest AI research.
● Software Development & Delivery: Actively contribute to the codebase by developing robust and efficient AI/ML models, algorithms, and related software. You'll participate in all aspects of the AI/ML development lifecycle—from ideation and data exploration through to design, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
● Quality & Compliance: Ensure all engineering activities strictly adhere to our QualityManagement System (QMS), You will contribute to robust security-by-design principles, including threat modeling (e.g., STRIDE).
What You'll Bring
● Education: Ideally Master’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field with a strong focus on artificial intelligence and 3D computer vision.
● Technical Prowess: Deep expertise in Python and related AI/ML frameworks (e.g.,PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn). In-depth understanding and significant application experience in state-of-the-art AI computer vision techniques like gaussian splatting and neural rendering.
● Highly Advantageous: A background in medical or health software, particularly withAI/ML applications in medical imaging or biomechanics, and/or experience with interactive 3D graphics.
● Soft Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills,especially in translating complex AI/ML concepts to diverse audiences.
